 a sucker for foliage. As much as I love the city, it's a joy to get out and ride around in *gasp!* a car. On Saturday, I went to a coworker's apartment in Fort Lee and we rode around in the countryside and talked for hours.

Monster cookies. It was tempting to get one for Fang, particularly after a joke she made recently about her hair turning gray like the Bride of Frankenstein. I only regret putting the Bride cookie in front of an adorable bat with purple trim.
It's the green pumpkin, Charlie Brown. I was tempted to buy it just to see a green Jack O'Lantern.
